Sleeping

If you don't deal with your demons while you are awake, you'll have to deal with them when you are asleep. That's what I think, anyway. I've had this conversation with different people over the years.

They say that medications which are supposed to help them sleep give them terrible nightmares and they have to quit taking the medicine. Then, they are still miserable and unhealthy because they can't sleep.

I use to be that way. When I started taking clairvoyance training, my teacher introduced the topic of dreams. In particular, she introduced how to protect ourselves from nightmares. Lucid dreaming, where you control or stop your dream, stops those terrible scenes from happening.

It takes practice. It takes self-awareness. I had to spend time being mindful during the day. I paid attention to my thoughts. I changed them from being passive thoughts to being active thoughts. I did asanas to move energy throughout my body. I made myself quiet during the daytime so that I could become accustomed to being quiet at nighttime.

As with all of my posts: these are my experiences and my thoughts. I share them with you, and you can see how the information resonates with you. While I do still need medication to help me sleep at night, with a balanced lifestyle, the medicine has been able to help me. I've also been able to reduce the prescription and still sleep.
